Detailed Information

The hike to Needle Peak is quite strenuous, but the view over the Cascades to the Coastal Mountains is spectacular. This hike is recommend for experienced hikers only. The first 90 minutes a steep uphill climb. It eventually becomes easier as you enter a mountain meadow where you can walk and enjoy the beautiful vista. The last hour requires scrambling over rocks and there are some fairly steep climbs, but well worth it.
