Since then, more than 15 feature films, including the supernatural horror movie Antlers, produced by award winning producer Guillermo delToro, have been filmed in the area. Several Hallmark films have used Hope’s downtown shopfronts and Memorial Park as stand-ins for quaint Christmas towns. Our diverse history has also made Hope a popular location for documentary filming. The rugged terrain in our area is perhaps best highlighted in the very popular TV show Highway Thru Hell. This series follows Hope’s own Jamie Davis and his crew, plus other towing companies as they work to keep local highways open for truckers during unpredictable weather.
