Cheam Lake Wetlands Regional Park
Cheam Lake Wetlands is a 107 hectare park that is comprised of lake, marsh and forest. It is popular for walking, picnicking and bird watching and is home to many insect, mammal and bird species. To date, 184 different bird species have been recorded in the park.
The park’s trail system is approximately 2 km long. It is ideal for all ages and features raised walkways and an elevated viewing platform. This park is designed and managed to protect sensitive habitat and wildlife. It is unsuitable for intensive recreation.
